Who you're calling

Two brothers. One promise.

Brothers Paul and Sergei Grigorjew founded Ecoflow in 2020. Sergei had been a plumber since 2005, and he'd had enough of the way most companies were run and the way they treated the people paying the bill.

The idea behind the business was simple: show up on time, do the job right, and do it for the quoted price. So while Sergei's cleaning up after putting your heat pump in, Paul's already started on our half of the rebate paperwork.

No week-long delays. No no-shows. No surprises on the invoice. Just the job, done the way you'd expect.

With 200+ Google reviews at 4.9 stars, from Salmon Arm out to Sorrento, Chase and Armstrong, the Shuswap seems to think they're delivering on that promise.

Services

What we do

Plumbing, heating, cooling and gas fitting are all in-house, so one job doesn't need two companies booked around each other.

Plumbing

  • Leaks, burst and frozen lines
  • Taps, toilets and fixtures
  • Water and sewer lines out to the property line
  • New builds and renovations, from rough-in to final fixtures
Plumbing services

Heating

  • Furnaces, boilers and in-floor radiant, gas or electric
  • Gas — fitting, venting and permits in-house, so a furnace swap doesn't wait on a second trade
  • Electric — heat pumps, including conversions off baseboards or an electric furnace
  • Service calls on a system that's limping, through to full replacement
Heating services

Cooling

  • Heat pumps, including cold-climate models
  • Ducted air conditioning added to the furnace system you already have
  • Ductless mini-splits where there's no ductwork, one room or the whole house
Cooling services

Drains

  • Backups, slow drains and drain cleaning
  • Sewer camera inspection, so you see what's in the line before anyone digs
  • Written reports for insurers and for a sale
Drains services

Poly-B replacement

  • Whole-house repipes
  • Confirmation in writing of what your house is actually plumbed with
  • The paperwork your insurer is asking for

Thanks Patti and Paul for looking after me and my tenants so quickly. Having NO HEAT is a BIG deal in the winter. Ecoflow answered their phone and dispatched a tech (Paul) within the hour. Fixed the issue on the spot... It doesn't get any better than that! Thank you for caring about your clients. Many thanks guys! You are on speed dial.

Rebates

Available rebates

There's real financial assistance on the table for a heat pump in BC right now. Here's what's currently available, and how we help you claim it.

Program amounts and rules change often. Both were last checked against the program pages on 30 September 2026.

The paperwork can be intimidating

But we've got you covered

The rebate paperwork always comes in two parts: the contractor section and the homeowner section. We get ours submitted quickly and then hand you everything you need to get yours filled out, so you can get that money back as soon as possible.

And if you get stuck, we're always just one phone call away to help you sort it out.

If it isn't right, we come back

Our labour is covered for one year, and the equipment carries its manufacturer's warranty, which we register on your behalf so it's actually in force when you need it.

If something we installed or repaired isn't doing what we told you it would do, call the office and we'll be back out to look at it at no charge. No arguing about whose fault it is first.

Service area

Where we work

We're based just outside the industrial park in Salmon Arm, so most of what we do is a short drive rather than a road trip. Canoe and the rural roads behind town, west along the lake through Sorrento, Blind Bay and Eagle Bay out to Chase, east to Sicamous, south down the valley to Enderby and Armstrong, and over to Mabel Lake.

Not sure whether you're inside that? Give us a call and ask. If it turns out we're not the right company for your job, we'll let you know and point you to someone who is.

Thanks to the team at Ecoflow, my place was out of the way and they are the only ones who could be bothered to help me replace an old oil furnace with a propane. The communication was excellent from everyone, I wasn't sitting around wondering if they had a plan or what that might be.

FAQ

The questions we get on the phone

How fast can you actually get here?

We can't guarantee a set callout time. It depends on where you are, the roads, and whether we're already out on another emergency. What we will do is give you an accurate ETA when you call, and let you know if anything changes.

Do you charge more for evenings, weekends and holidays?

Yes. Our after-hours callout fee is higher than our daytime rate.

But before we send anybody out, we'll give you an accurate idea of what it's going to cost you, and we'll tell you whether the problem can safely wait for regular hours. Plenty of them can.

Will the price change once you've started?

No. The number on the quote is the number on the invoice, and that's the promise this company is built on.

The one exception is when we open something up and find a second problem behind the first, which happens on old plumbing. At that point we stop, show you what we've found, and price it as its own job. You decide whether it goes ahead. Nothing gets added quietly.

When will I hear back if I call or fill in the form?

If you reach us between eight and five, Monday to Friday, you'll hear back the same day. That's the office's job and it's consistent.

Outside those hours it depends. A genuine emergency goes to the on-call line and gets answered around the clock. A form submitted at nine on a Saturday night gets picked up the next business morning, and we'd rather tell you that than promise something we can't hold to every time.

Do you help with the heat pump rebates?

Yes, and it's worth being precise about it. There are two halves to a FortisBC or CleanBC application. We complete the contractor portion as part of the job. The homeowner portion has to be submitted by you, and we'll walk you through it.

Before the work starts we'll tell you which rebates the equipment you're considering actually qualifies for. Amounts and program rules change often, so we quote the current figures at your estimate.

My insurer asked whether my house has Poly-B. Can you check?

Yes, and it's a short visit. Poly-B is grey flexible pipe, usually with copper or plastic crimp rings, and it's most often visible at the hot water tank, under sinks, or where lines run through an unfinished basement.

We'll confirm what you've got, put it in writing for your insurer, and give you a repipe estimate at the same visit if that's where it's heading.

Tell us what's going on.

Free estimates, one number quoted up front, and a straight answer about whether this is urgent or whether it can wait until Tuesday.

  • Same-day response on anything submitted between 8:00 and 5:00, Monday to Friday
  • Emergency line answered around the clock
  • No charge for the estimate, and no obligation after it
