Heating and cooling

Every home needs heat in the winter, and most people want to stay cool in the summer. There's more than one way to do both.
We install and fix four kinds of systems: heat pumps, furnaces, air conditioners, and boilers. Not sure which one is right for your home? We'll walk you through the choices and give you a price for each one.

FAQ

Common questions

Do you do plumbing and heating, or do I need two companies?

Both, and gas fitting as well. Sergei holds a Red Seal plumbing ticket and Ecoflow is a licensed gas contractor, so a job that touches the water heater, the gas line, and the furnace is one call and one crew. Electrical work is done by a licensed electrician we coordinate with, and you'll know at the quote if your job needs one.

Will you just replace what I have, or tell me if there's a better option?

We'll tell you. If a heat pump would serve you better than a new air conditioner, or a repair makes more sense than a new unit, you'll hear that at the quote, with a price for each option. The decision stays yours.

Can you help with heat pump rebates?

Yes. We're a CleanBC Registered Contractor, which the rebate requires, and we complete the contractor portion of the paperwork as part of the job. The homeowner portion has to be submitted by you, and we'll walk you through it. Some programs need you to pre-register before installation, so talk to us before anything goes in. Our rebates page has the current figures.

Do you work outside Salmon Arm?

Yes. We cover the Shuswap and North Okanagan, from Armstrong and Enderby up to Sicamous and across to Sorrento, Blind Bay, Eagle Bay, and Chase, including Canoe, Mabel Lake, and rural properties and cabins in between.

Planning a project? Let's talk.

A new furnace, a heat pump, a bathroom reno, or a whole new house, the first step is the same. Tell us what you have in mind, and we'll come take a look and give you one price before any work starts.

Reach us between 8:00 and 5:00 on a weekday and you'll hear back the same day.
